Why ReptIQ Exists
ReptIQ was born out of a simple problem: keeping track of reptile care is harder than it looks. When you have one snake, you can probably remember when you last fed it. But add a second reptile, then a third, and suddenly you're juggling multiple feeding schedules, shed cycles, and weight checks in your head.
After one too many "wait, did I feed the gecko yesterday or the day before?" moments, the idea for ReptIQ clicked. There had to be a better way — an app built specifically for reptile keepers that makes care tracking as easy as tapping a button.
Built by a Young Developer
ReptIQ was built by a 12-year-old developer who loves both coding and reptiles. What started as a learning project turned into a real app that solves a real problem. Every feature was designed with actual reptile keepers in mind — from the species care sheets to the feeding reminders.
Building ReptIQ has been a journey of learning Kotlin, Android development, cloud databases, and app design from the ground up. It's proof that age doesn't determine what you can create.
