ReptIQ collects and stores the following information:

• Account Information: Your Google account email and display name when you sign in
• Reptile Data: Names, photos, species, dates, care logs, and notes you enter about your reptiles
• Usage Data: App preferences like theme selection and font size

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the ReptIQ service
• Sync your data across your devices
• Send feeding reminders (if you enable them)
• Improve the app based on feedback you submit

3. Data Storage

• All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore Database and Cloud Storage)
• Your data is private and only accessible to you
• Photos are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage
• Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS

4. Data Sharing

We DO NOT sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Your reptile collection and care data is completely private.

5. Feedback

When you submit feedback through the app, we collect your email address and message so we can improve ReptIQ. Feedback submissions may be reviewed by the developer. We will never share your feedback publicly without your permission.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the app
• Export your data using the backup feature
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Stop using the service at any time

7. Data Deletion

To delete your account and all data:

1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll to the bottom
3. Tap "Sign Out" (this removes local data)
4. Email support@reptiq.io to permanently delete your Firebase data

We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

ReptIQ is designed for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
